How come I uncover some of my white brethren saying that a black person has played the "black card" in a given situation when in fact, american slavery was the very first try at playing the "black card"?

Whites utilized the so-called inferiority of the black race as a justification for slavery...
so, why do SOME whites call out blacks for this so-referred to as "black card"?
