No. They're either slightly alternative, emo, punk or whatever.

Studded belts were quite cool 3 years ago.
Now the emos have made them mainstream.
A few of my buddies have been wearing them for four, 5 years.

Personally, I do not like them tbh.
They're good on blokes. I just wouldn't wear them myself, simply because I'm not that punky. (Apart from the music, certainly.)
